Jose Manrique began his tango career in 1996 in La Casa del Tango in La Plata City. A year later, he became a member of the dancing ensemble there, performing in several theaters. By mid-1998 he was taking classes with some of the most well known tango teachers, including Gustavo Naviera, Osvaldo Zotto, and Graciela Gonzales. He took part in Caminito in La Boca and in 1999 began teaching at tango schools. He appeared in the Rome-Europe 2000 Festival at the National Theater of Rome, and the 2003 show at Homero Mazi's Café. He performed in Fracanapa by Gustavo Naviera and Giselle Anne, and Pasión de Tango, and has appeared in Tango, Historias Breves (formerly Tangos de la Cabala), directed by Guillermina Quiroga since November 2003. He took part in Alma de Tango at the Tortoni Café. He continues to teach as an instructor for our tango city tour of Buenos Aires and perform in various milongas.
Natalia Pombo has taught in the Escuela Argentina de Tango, Tango World Championship 2006 and milonga Bien Pulenta as Raúl Bravo's partenaire: one of the greatest dancers and teachers whose career has extended for over 50 years. In 2006, she featured as an actress and dancer in TANGOMUDO Humor Tango Show. She has performed in Palacio San Miguel, Sheratton Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Salón Canning, Confitería Ideal with Paulo Bidart; Cafe 36 Billares and worked in the Universal Company of Tango and Folklore (Compañía Universal de Tango), directed by Hernán Villegas. At the present time she is dancing with José Manrique in Mansión Dandi Royal, La Esquina de Homero Manzi, El Barracas y Chiquín. They teach in Estudio Saverio Perre and Estudio Beba Bidart, as well.
